About this course

Usually removal is hard and long process. Everything depends on what pigment, depth were used before, how much time is after the treatment and how the skin reacts to the removal. This process is an intervention to the skin so it is very important what technique to use in order to remove the pigment, how many sessions necessary and time intervals between them. It is not recommended to cover or correct unwanted permanent makeup with a camouflage technique (skin color pigment) as the rising quantity of pigment accumulates in the dermis of the skin. It will not make the permanent makeup invisible which is the original intention, as client’s natural skin color reacts to UV light, also changes during sporting activities, individual disposition and according to the seasons. The so-called skin color will therefore become noticeable as your own skin color changes to. This is certainly not desirable from an aesthetic point of view.

There are several ways how to remove unwanted permanent makeup but the main are two: laser or special solution. Baltic Brows® permanent makeup removal solution can remove unwanted tattoo pigments or the whole permanent makeup almost completely out of the skin. In order to be safe and avoid skin changes after healing, we recommend to do several sessions periodically. Not to try to do everything from first time as you can overwork the skin. Normally, the color disappears almost completely in the area that has been treated after 1-5 treatments (depending on existing pigment intensity).

What should I bring to the course?

- Bring everything you use for the treatment (machine or manual tool, needles (1 point, 5 round), numbing, other tools). During the course your workplace will be prepared (all disposable things will be given).

Does the training include kit?

-It depends on course and city. Check on exact city in REGISTER.

Is it painful?

- Client can feel discomfort but we numb. Everything depends on the deepness the technician works, pain tolerance, numbing strength.

What tools and products are used for treatment?

- Disposable needles, permanent makeup device or manual tool, certified permanent makeup pigments, soothing solution, sterile cotton pads, sterile disposable pigments ring, special pencils for permanent makeup, sterile water and some other equipment to make sure the treatment is done hygienically.

What is the duration of the treatment?

- Up to 1 hour.

What are the treatment steps?

- Consultation

- Medical health form and agreement

- Numbing

- First pass of treatment

- Numbing

- Several passes of treatment. Between passes it is possible to be numbed again if necessary;

- Final result discussion and explanation of aftercare

1 Registration

2 Preparation

Blood Borne Pathogen test and register in Health department if you haven’t done this before. Bring both licenses to hands-on course. This will let you to practice on live model (for USA artists).
Start searching for a model for course hands-on part. Student is responsible to bring a model with bad tattoo or PMU. Make sure your model is appropriate for removal treatment:

Pregnancy; Nursing; Drugs/ Alcohol; Allergies (nickel, anesthetics, latex, iron oxide); Retain A within last 2 weeks; Anaemia; Heart / blood problems; Prolonged bleeding; Low/ high blood pressure; Diabetes; Haemophilia; Liver disease; Epilepsy; HIV; Hepatitis; Cancer in the past 6 months; Pacemaker – we can perform only manual techniques (no device used); Chemical or laser peel within 6 weeks - AHA preparations in the past 2 weeks; All types injections (1 month before and after treatment); Hypertrophic scars; Keloid scars; moles; birthmarks; Healing problems; Eczema, Psoriasis, severe acne, minor skin conditions in brow area; Serious heart disorders, blood infections; Straight after waxing in that are you plan to practice; Autoimmune disease; Hyper-pigmentation; Using Accutane or other retinoids past 6 months; Sunburn; The area is already damaged or the irritations are visible.

3 1 day training in class

Theory part, practice on latex, trainer demo show works, students practice on model with the help of a teacher.
